Levi stared at Eren as if he hadn’t heard him correctly. Which he hadn’t. Because he honestly couldn’t be asking him to kiss him, especially not after–
Cheeks puffed, lips lined with determination, Eren uttered those words once more: “Kiss me, Levi.”
He cringed. So he hadn’t heard incorrectly.
Truth be told, it was hard to say no to that pouting, insistent face. Any other day, any other time, Levi would have willingly given him the kiss he asked for. But tonight was not that night.

Every time Eren wandered away, every time he turned to face the world opposite of the walls that made up their home, Levi was left with the feeling that one day, Eren would keep going forward and leave everyone behind.
Levi’s got a crush on the flower boy across the street from his office, so he often stops by after work. Eren wonders why he keeps coming when he doesn’t buy anything (he also seems to have picked up a habit of hiding his face behind plants).
